The Team Management System (TMS®) is a model for staff, team and organization development. It was developed by the management experts and internationally known business consultants Charles Margerison und Dick McCann.
In successful teams eight central and success-defining fields of duty (types of work / team roles) are identified. Each individual has a preference to do some of these types of work. Some others he/she rather doesn't want to do. "Creative brains" may prefer inventing new products or solving problems instead of implementing routine results and the non-creative will gladly fulfill any project controlling task instead of preparing a presentation for the management.
Each one doing a lot of what he really likes doing, provides a team with a good many energy, enthusiasm, commitment and motivation - each effect contributing to the formation of a high-performance team.
The three preferred teamroles are identified through a validated questionnaire with 60 question pairs and reported on in detail in a personalized team management profile. As accredited consultants we would gladly evaluate the report for you.
